Compass Acquisitions was founded in 1997 with the objective of acquiring and managing small and mid-sized automotive manufacturing companies. Compass has established a multimillion-dollar private equity fund dedicated to the acquisition, operation, and growth of mid-sized tier 2 automotive suppliers.

The Compass team includes current and former senior executives from the automotive and surrounding industry. In the aggregate, the team represents over 400 person years of experience in the areas of manufacturing operations, quality and business operating systems, engineering, customer service, information technology, finance, and marketing.

Compass Acquisitions was formed to address the need to support the automotive industry with financial and managerial resources. By combining the firm's industry experience with its ability to attract capital, Compass generates solid returns for its members, partners, and portfolio companies.
